A Development Application to expand a commercial dog breeding facility is currently open for public consultation with the Coffs Harbour City Council. To object, please fill out the form and edit the letter which will be sent directly to the council.
Please note, you don’t need to reside in the Coffs Harbour region or NSW to have a say.
Submissions close at 5 PM, Tuesday 12 January 2021.
Current NSW ‘animal welfare’ legislation is inadequate and fails to protect or meet the behavioural, social and/or emotional needs of dogs and puppies. Accordingly, facilities operating to these minimum standards do not provide dogs with a quality of life, and nor do they adequately prepare puppies for life as human companions. Similarly, NSW planning laws fail to protect all animal species against commercial breeding and exploitation for profit.
This is your opportunity to speak up for these and all other commercially bred dogs by lodging a personal objection to oppose this planning development.
Submissions are now closed. Thank you to the 753 people who used our template and to everyone else who objected the puppy farm expansion .
