Donate: Protect Australian wildlife

Millions of kangaroos are commercially slaughtered every year across Australia. Native dingoes are baited with horrific and cruel poisons.

Others are shot under the NSW ‘Right to Harm’ permit system that doesn’t stop at kangaroos and wallabies. Powerful owls and eagles are killed by common rat poisons. Our precious and unique koalas are on the brink of extinction, and across NSW nearly 1,000 species are currently facing threats.

Across Australia, wildlife is being legally and relentlessly wiped out. They are treated not as precious individuals, or part of an important ecosystem, but as ‘pests’ or ‘problems’ to be controlled.

You can help end this legalised cruelty.

The killing of Australia’s native animals is a national disgrace, hidden behind inadequate laws and government indifference. For decades, Animal Liberation has been investigating and fighting for urgent change. Now, we need you.

Your donation will fuel our campaigns and give Australia’s imperilled wildlife the powerful defence they desperately need.

How donating helps protect Australian wildlife

When you donate, you will be supporting our work to:

  • Stop the kangaroo slaughter: Your gift helps us challenge the commercial kangaroo industry and the Right to Harm licence system through political lobbying and public awareness campaigns that reveal the hidden cruelty.

  • Ban cruel poisons: Help us fight to outlaw second-generation rat poisons that kill our native predators and continue our push to ban 1080 poison and Second-Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides (‘SGARs’).

  • Power investigations and advocacy: You will fund our vital work to expose cruelty, provide expert submissions to government, and build a more compassionate Australia for all animals.

  • Increase our advocacy and awareness-raising reach: Your gift helps us broaden our advocacy and reach to raise critical public awareness about the plight of wildlife, including native species;

  • Oppose harmful planning applications and reform the planning regime: Your gift helps us oppose harmful planning applications that risk and impact our shared environment, critical habitats, wildlife, and ecosystems.
